Celebrating 160 years of Begg x Co, our limited edition capsule collection pays tribute to the places, people and traditions that have shaped Begg x Co since 1866.
Each piece reimagines a chapter of our story, honouring a legacy of innovation, Scottish craftsmanship and design.
Named after Causeyside Street in Paisley, home to our original mill in 1866, this limited edition wrap celebrates 160 years of Begg x Co and the weaving heritage that shaped our story.
Renowned for its distinctive curved motif, the Paisley pattern became synonymous with the town's flourishing textile industry during the nineteenth century. Inspired by an archival Begg x Co shawl housed in the Paisley Museum, intricate jacquard patterns and circular motifs drawn from historic punched loom cards, once used to weave complex designs, are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
