Developed at our mill in Ayr in the early 2000s, Nuance Ombre cashmere scarf, stole and throw is made using its own bespoke yarn made from blended, hand-dyed cashmere. These super-soft pieces are finished with a classic, glossy, rippled effect which we achieve by brushing the surface with Italian teasels – harvested to our own specs.

Each new colourway is carefully planned and designed, taking up to six months from concept to final delivery. Each one is inspired by the intrinsic duality of Scotland – from rugged coastline, imposing mountains and cinematic skies to gritty urban sprawl. The paradox of nature and industry inspire each piece in the Nuance collection with a subtle, gradual blending of shades from fringe to fringe.
