Supporting Our NHS
After the Nationwide applause for our UK NHS last Thursday, we were overwhelmed with emotion. It made us even more determined to help in any way that we can.
To support our Frontline Workers, we have selected three of our most iconic blue products as a thank you. As of 1st April, all online profits of the below BEGG & CO products will be donated to the charity NHS Charities Together.

Support Our NHS Kishorn Electric Blue
A lightweight, delicately woven style, the Kishorn is the scarf for any season. Made from 15 micron 100% cashmere, the sleek, stable characteristics of the yarn are due to the traditional worsted process, where shorter fibres are eliminated before combing. An incredibly versatile style with short fringes. it was designed by Begg & Co to offer a contemporary look that feels comfortable to wear, regardless of the weather.
Support Our NHS Arran Blue Jay
Developed by Begg & Co in the 1970s, the perennially popular Arran is made from 100% pure cashmere and finished using hand-harvested Italian teasels, which are gently brushed across the surface to create the iconic ripple effect. Superbly soft and incredibly hard-wearing, this signature style is ideal for those cold winter months, with a dense weave that provides excellent thermal benefits. It’s a classic essential for any wardrobe.
Support Our NHS Wispy Harbour
Created using 100% 14.7 micron cashmere, Begg & Co’s Wispy is a timeless favourite for both men and women. Ultra lightweight, this superfine scarf contains an astonishing 8km of the finest gossamer yarn from goats in the Alashan region of Inner Mongolia, whose fine hair is used to create some of the world’s most luxurious garments. A contemporary, oversized style, it’s an ideal travel companion or trans-seasonal accessory.
Support Our NHS Making Scrubs
At 8pm every Thursday in the UK, we stand on our doorsteps, on our balconies, in our gardens or at our windows to clap and thank the NHS and all frontline workers who are helping and protecting us at this difficult time.
We are so pleased to partner with ‘For the Love of Scrubs Scotland’ to manufacture scrubs for our local Ayrshire & Arran Hospitals - to do our bit to help during this time.
