Responsibility – to our people, product and planet – sits at the very core of Begg x Co.

At Begg x Co we make considerable efforts to ensure we look after our employees and those in our supply chain. We invest heavily in our teams to develop their skills whilst offering many opportunities for employees to get involved in developing the business and in our support for charities, both locally and further afield.

Celebrating Our Craftspeople

This year we introduced a a new series of portraits of the craftspeople in our mills by Scottish photographer Alex James Aylin.

Follow the series of portraits on our Instagram to learn more about the team that make Begg x Co at our mills in Ayr and Hawick, the people behind our products.

Supporting The Glasgow School of Art

Begg x Co has teamed up with The Glasgow School of Art, one the leading art schools in the UK, to fund four Bursaries and one Scholarship for the BA (Hons) Textile Design course. The Begg x Co Degree Show Preparation Bursary has been awarded to 4 final year students in the department of BA (Hons) Textiles. The Begg x Co Scholarship will support a final year student in BA (Hons) Textiles and will be offered in conjunction with a three-month paid internship at Begg x Co.

Learn More about Begg x Co + Queercircle

Since Begg x Co was founded 10 years ago, we have taken our corporate responsibility seriously but we acknowledge that we can still do more. As the world lands in our homeland for COP26, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, we’re proud to launch our inaugural Responsibility Report.

We invite you to join us on this journey.
