Named after Causeyside Street in Paisley, home to our original mill in 1866, this limited edition wrap celebrates 160 years of Begg x Co and the weaving heritage that shaped our story.
Renowned for its distinctive curved motif, the Paisley pattern became synonymous with the town's flourishing textile industry during the nineteenth century. Inspired by an archival Begg x Co shawl housed in the Paisley Museum, intricate jacquard patterns and circular motifs drawn from historic punched loom cards, once used to weave complex designs, are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
Woven from the finest cashmere and finished with elegant fringing on all four sides, the limited-edition Causeyside wrap is a distinctive and collectible piece, deeply rooted in Scottish craftsmanship.
