We are based in the small Scottish coastal town of Ayr where we make and design every collection at our mill. Every piece is imagined and realised with meticulous care, dedication and love. With a focus on craftsmanship and quality, our highly skilled team of weavers and knitters use the finest natural noble fibres, sustainable cashmere, wool and silk to make the most exquisite scarves, blankets, wraps and stoles.
Drawing inspiration from Scotland’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, we never cease to be inspired. Learn more about us here.
We are proud to introduce our AW21 Collection 'Extraordinary Unordinary'.
This season our designers draw inspiration from the often overlooked beauty of the everyday. The extraordinary, the little luxuries of everyday existence. Stormy blues and midnight skies of the North of Scotland, warm browns and sand tones of the earth, the rich ochre of native gorse that punctuates our palette of greens and browns in our natural landscape.
Captured by Robbie Lawrence & Vivek Vadoliya at the Henry Moore Studios and Sculpture Gardens, discover new weaves and designs in our story drops below.
AW21 Morning Light
We are proud to introduce our first drop of AW21, Morning Light.
Inspired by the changing light in Scotland as we transition from Summer to Autumn, Morning Light represents a new dawn, and a chance to seize the day. Featuring shades of rain, cloud and smoke, discover new weaves and lightweight knitwear designs in Morning Light, captured at the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens by Robbie Lawrence.
AW21 Golden Hour
We draw inspiration from the end of our day when the light is softer and warmer than when the sun is in the sky, known to us as Cashmere Hour. Featuring shades of dove, flannel and oxford grey, with accents of wild gorse and gold dust. Shop new knitwear and accessories in our latest AW21 drop, Golden Hour.
SS21 Common Blue
Blue skies, fresh air and hazy days, Common Blue represents the beauty in our own back garden. Re-explore your home, listen to the bird song, appreciate your surroundings. Inspired by the North Sea, yachts and out-door swimming, featuring shades of powder blue, industrial greys and Klein. Captured in The Allotment by Robbie Lawrence.
Captured in The Garden by Robbie Lawrence, the Admiral drop is a nod towards exquisite detailing, cramming, fringing and ribbon stripes. Featuring inky blues, with pops of red currant, and accents of tartan. Our designers explored bandanas, lounge wraps, travel blankets and scarves, creating the ultimate day to night lifestyle products.
AW20 Sculpture Studio
For the next drop of our AW20 collection we had the honour of photographing part of our campaign at the Paisley Studios of Alexander (Sandy) Stoddart, who is the Queen's Sculptor In Ordinary in Scotland. Discover Sculpture Studio.
AW20 Concrete Jungle
Introducing the second drop of our AW20 collection, Concrete Jungle. Our story continues with our student artists Alex and Ted, as they discover hidden parks and pottery stores behind Sauchiehall Street and stop at a local chippy. Drawing inspiration from the wet pavements and grey architecture of the city, to the texture and pattern of the Scottish wild cat. Concrete Jungle features graphic lines, Hebridean browns and pebbledash greys. Discover new accessories and interiors in Concrete Jungle.
AW20 The Underground
We kick off the season in Glasgow’s subway, also known as a Clockwork Orange. One of the oldest underground stations in the World, it follows our student artists Ted and Alex on the beginning of their journey through the city. Graphic checks, clashing reds and popping oranges showcase our collection of new lightweight and trans-seasonal pieces for Autumn.
